I used to hate beige colour when I was little, for some reason it was in the same hate bucket as pink colour for me (hmm how weird!). For me it was just brown and I associated it with older aunties who wore old fashioned thick handbags, smelling of leather, I did not like the look nor the smell. Brown was just yikes! The beige colour evolution happened to me with appearance of Jennifer Lopez. She wore lots of beige mixed with gold, probably the first person I recall having a highlighter on her cheeks. Which was also beige / gold-ish. The second beige love came with Kim Kardashian and her ever existing addition of nude (and its sister – gold) to everything. There came eyeshadows, lipsticks and lip glosses, matte lips, nude nails, beige blondes and browns, as well as Instagram filter Aden, that looks fabulous with anything gold and beige in the background. Currently this colour is quite timeless, just like black or white goes with anything, there are nicer shades of it than perhaps in years when I was little. The heels I wear on these pics are my go to when I’m not sure what to wear, they really go with everything. My favourite shade is beige closest to light pink, and how about yours? xx
